1994an argitaratu zen lehen aldiz ‘Kutsidazu bidea, Ixabel’ eleberria. Juan Martin donostiar kalekumea euskaltegian ikasten ari den euskara hobetzera dator Alkizara. Bizitokia Hernialdeko baserri batean du. Juan Martin, paraje hauetako indigenen artean arrotz sentitzen da.

Bertakoen euskara swahili moduko bat iruditzen zaio, baserriko lanak estrainio eta ohiturak basatiak.

Joxean Sagastizabalek eskribitutako liburu honetan umorez betetako idazkeraz kontatzen dizkigu protagonistaren pasadizoak. Baserriko alaba Ixabelek ‘kutsitzen’ dion mendi-bidean barrena joaten da Juan Martin egunero eskolak hartzera Alkizara eta bide hori zuk ere egitea proposatzen dizugu.
