Anoetako udaletxetik San Juan Bataiatzailearen parrokia inguratuz San Juan kalerantz abiatuko gara. Ibaiaren amaieran eta ezkerretara bihurgune txiki bat egin ondoren, ibilbidearen lehen aldapa igoko dugu Txolarre elkartearen aurretik pasatuz.

Igoera honen amaieran ezkerrera doan bide bat topatuko dugu, baina guk zuzen jarraitu beharko dugu. 700 metro inguru egin ondoren, eskuinetara dagoen aldapa bat topatuko dugu, eta Axibar baserrira joateko bidea bereizten duen aldapa hartu beharko dugu.

900 metro egin ondoren eta Ateaga baserrira iritsi aurretik, eskuineko bidea hartu beharko dugu seinaleztatuta dagoen bidetik. Horren amaieran, eta eskuinetara topatuko dugun azken aldapa igo ondoren, Basagain herrixkara iritsiko gara, 3,53 km eginda.
