Depuis Orexa, nous monterons à mi-hauteur des pentes des montagnes Espuru et Muñoaundi et, après avoir franchi le col des montagnes Intsusburu et Aldamuño, nous descendrons vers la vallée du ruisseau Uli. En laissant derrière nous plusieurs sources, nous atteindrons les refuges Matxine et Iriarte et peu après, nous monterons vers le mont Elorrigaña. L'itinéraire s'approche de Lizartza, puis passe par l'ermitage de San Marcos à Intxaurbe.
