Les costumes traditionnels basques sont très variés. Ils sont couramment utilisés lors de nombreux rendez-vous festifs : fêtes, fêtes de Noël et surtout spectacles de danse.

Dans le cas des femmes, on porte de longues jupes, un mouchoir sur la tête. Il y a même des gens qui portent des mantons par-dessus, surtout les jours de calme. Les hommes portent un pantalon long, une chemise, un chemisier ou un gilet, une ceinture, un mouchoir et des espadrilles.

Dans la région de Tolosaldea, il est courant de s’habiller ainsi à Noël, la veille de Santa Agueda, aux Halles Spéciales, ou le jour de la Fête Basque de la Fête de l’Haricot de Tolosa.
