Around Belkoain

Starting from the Herriko Plaza we pass by the Zabala cider house and follow the path until we reach a crossroads. There, following yellow and white stripes, we take the path that remains on the left side.

At the next junction we follow the path of "PR-Gi-119 Basopetako atsedenlekua 0.4 km" and head to the rest area of Basopeta (always along the main road and following yellow and white stripes).

Arriving at the recreational area of Basopeta, we take the road that indicates the Alto de Marea PR-Gi-119 at 0.6 km and reach the hill of Alto de Marea. Before returning to the road, you can climb to the top of Mount Belkoain and see the dolmen located on it.

From the hill of Alto de Marea, we follow the road that goes down to Andoain and at the first junction we find we take the road on the right. At the second junction we will continue along the widest path.
This path will direct us to the starting point of the tour.

Along the way back we find sequoyas, very unusual in this area. Later we will find the point of geological interest of Aduna: the terrigean materials of the Urgonian facial settlements are the reflection of this space. The materials of the Urgonic Series currently form many of the main mountains of Euskal Herria.

Afterwards, we will only have to go back on the road traveled at the beginning of the route, until we reach the Herriko Plaza.
