Basagain anoeta

From Anoeta Town Hall and bordering the parish church of St. John the Baptist, we will head towards San Juan Street. At the end of this street and after a slight bend to the left along the river, we climb the first slope of the route, passing in front of the Txolarre association.

At the end of this ascent you will come to a path that turns off to the left, although you will have to continue straight on through the valley. After about 700 metres you will come to an uphill slope on the right that you will have to take, which separates the path by which you could go to the Axibar farmhouse.

After about 900 metres and before reaching the Ateaga farmhouse, take the signposted path on the right. At the end of this path and after climbing a final slope on the right hand side, you will reach the village of Basagain after a total of 3.53 km.
