Sculpture of the poet Nicolas Ormaetxea «Orixe», in which one of his verses is mentioned: «…geroak esan beza: erri bat izan zan, edota aire emaiogun untan iraun dezan» (let the future say: it once was a town, or let’s give it air so it continues to be one)

Parroquia de Santa Cruz

16th century church, with a Reinassance style interior. Next to the church, at Segoretxe house, there's a sundial from 1850.

Unbeatable view from Urkieta

Beautiful mountain (866m) with a wonderful view of Aralar Mountain Range from its pointy peak. The climb starts at Basabe cliff and passes through lovely forests.
