Rural area
Quiet rural village, with peculair traits, since the centre of it is divided by the railway and Oria river. The cycling track between Tolosa and Beasain crossed the village from north to south, perfect for a nice walk.

of interest
SanLorenzochurch
Located in the centre of the village, from the 16th century, although it’s been renovated on different occasions. It’s of late Gothic style, and it also has Basque Gothic elements. It’s worth mentioning the beautiful wooden arcade.
Kutturrurecreationalarea
Recently improved area, where a total of 4,000 native plants have been planted: oak, beech, chesnut, maple and ash tree. Includes tables and water fountains.
NuestraSeñoradelPilarchapel
The only one in Gipuzkoa dedicated to Virgin Pilar, located at the entrance of the village. It replaced Santiago chapel, located on the other side of the river. Built in the 19th century.
Erretoretxea
Former rural house, although nowadays has a more modern style it still maintains a 1864 solar clock. Next to the town hall, very close to the church.
Olazabalbridge
On the outskirts of Ikategieta, next to the Baliarrain intersection, this old bridge where The Way of St. James passed is located. Nowadays is closed.
