An unknown treasure

Other points
of interest
Ibiur reservoir
With 6.5 cubic hectometre capacity, Ibiur supplies water to about 56,000 people in 12 towns. From the dam there’s a magnificent view of Txindoki mountain, reflected on the water on sunny days. There’s a nice walking path around the reservoir.
Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion church
Rustic style church with elements from other eras, such as two clocks, one of them being a solar clock, and a plaque in Latin.
A tiny fronton court
In front of the church there’s the former priest’s house, with detailed construction work. The portico has a tiny and charming fronton court. Next to it there’s a large, indoors fronton court.
San Juan Iturri lookout
Following the road you get to the top of a beautiful picnic area, San Juan Iturri. The view from here, with Baliarrain below and Txindoki and Balerdi mountains, is breathtaking.
Lopetedi farmhourse
One of the most prominent farmhouses in the village, from the 17th century and declared cultural asset.
