Sarasola Ciderhouse were to eat in Asteasu

Sarasola cider house in Asteasu, located in an area known as Zabalgaina, began operations in 1970 alongside Aniceto Sarasola, father of the current owner. Although at the outset the cider house was a neighbourhood cider house, that brough together residents who tasted cider, over time they opened their doors to the wider public. 75% of the apples used in production are from the local area, specifically from their own and neighbouring orchards. Currently around 120,000 litres of cider are produced a year.

At Sarasola in Asteasu you can find the raditional cider house menu: cod omelette, cod with peppers, T-bone steak and cheese, quince jelly and nuts.

Open from January to late June.

Reservations can be made to have lunch on Fridays.
