Basque pelota

Tolosaldea is also closely linked to Basque Pelota. In every village there is a pelota fronton court –or more than one– and numerous pelota schools that have trained dozens of professional and amateur pelota players. It is common to see children playing pelota, especially in rural villages.

Basque Pelota is a symbol of our country’s culture and in the region there are people who make them by hand or sports shops that sell them. The typical blue and red T-shirts are also available, and can be an excellent purchase for gifts or, why not, for playing!
