In the centenary of the birth of Néstor Basterretxea (Bermeo, Bizkaia, 1924-Hondarribia, Gipuzkoa, 2014) we want to show the work done for the production of the children’s opera El Gigante de Alzo. Sketched and drawn by himself, it was his family who was in charge of the construction of the marionettes and scenography used in this work premiered in 2016.
