Sarasola Ciderhouse were to eat in Asteasu

The Sarasola cider house in Asteasu, located in the area known as Zabalgaina, was started in 1970 by the grandfather of the current owner, Aniceto Sarasola. Although the cider house started out as a neighbourhood cider house, where the locals used to meet and taste cider, over time it opened its doors to the general public. 75% of the apples used to make the local cider are local, specifically from their own apple orchards and those in the area. They currently produce 120,000 litres of cider a year.

At the Sarasola cider house in Asteasu they offer a traditional cider house menu: cod omelette, cod with peppers, steak and cheese, quinces and walnuts.
